As an employer, what comes to mind when you hear the word access? Maybe you envision a person using a wheelchair or maybe you have not had a reason to think about it. Either way, at Disability Network/Lakeshore we believe an accessible workplace invites a larger pool of qualified applicants to apply for open positions. It also demonstrates value to current employees with disabilities whether they have disclosed or not.
We seek to create partnerships with local employers in order to share best practices in retention, inclusiveness, and recruitment.
