Carrie Benchich has worked with individuals with disabilities for almost twenty years in various capacities. She works as our Independent Living Guide and Benefits Planner. She works with individuals to develop plans towards financial independence, to access state and federal benefits, and to obtain employment. Her benefits planning training has prepared her to assist individuals to understand how working will affect their benefits. This enables them to make informed decisions about all aspects of their life. In prior positions, Carrie assisted individuals through their personal and professional transitions working at a hospital and vocational school practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
